The undiscovered gem thats great fun on and off the slopes
Sitting between France and Spain, Andorra has slipped under the radar of many British skiers for some time but we feel it's a gem waiting to be discovered. Grandvalira is Andorra’s biggest ski region and incorporates the resorts of Soldeu el Tarter, Pas de la Casa/Grau Roig, Encamp, and Canillo. The area offers 173 pistes in total with skiing between 1710 and 2640 metres altitude and a maximum vertical of 930 metres..
Pas De La CasaLively resort with great Apres ski
El TarterGreat skiing, intimate but lively
The main local slopes are on open mountainsides above the woods, though there are runs in the woods back to all of the resort lift bases.
CanilloPerfect for families
Canillo has a vertical drop of over 2000 ft. There are 4 groomed trails and 7 lifts. As with the majority of the Grandvalira ski region, beginners and intermediates are by far the best catered for.
